ThreadLift

What is it?
Brow lift surgery creates smoother, flatter skin on the forehead, resulting in facial rejuvenation. It improves the appearance of drooping eyebrows, eyelid hooding, forehead furrow and frown lines. Dr. Iacono performs the browlift surgery with the aid of a special vision instrument called an endoscope, which allows him to operate beneath the skin through minute incisions and with minimal scarring.

Endoscopic brow lifts minimize scarring and allow for faster recovery. Dr. Iacono has been performing endoscopic brow lifts since 1994.

What does it help & not help?

Usually helps with:

  • furrow or frown lines
  • drooping brows
  • some wrinkles
  • contour due to loose skin
  • facial rejuvenation

Will not help with:

  • some wrinkles
  • aging process

How long will it last?
An endoscopic brow lift usually lasts 5-10 years, depending on the aging process. Older patients with extreme laxity and elastic damage may require a minor revision (thread lift/suture lift) within 1-2 years for optimal improvement.

Surgical Considerations
Surgery is performed in an accredited outpatient surgery center or hospital.
