What is it?
The Body-Jet liposuction technique is a relatively new procedure in the United States and is FDA approved.

Body-Jet Liposuction uses "Water Profusion", a Water-Jet to assist the liposuction procedure. It can be applied to multiple areas of the body during the same session.

After the surgery your skin is smooth and you have less pain and bruises found in standard liposuction procedures.

Liposuction is performed on the head, neck, chest, abdomen, thighs, hips and knees. Liposuction of all areas is generally done in one sitting so that proper contouring can be achieved. The

Dr. Iacono has been performing successful liposuctions since the procedure's inception in France in the early 90s and is on the forefront of technology, incorporating the Body-Jet method into his treatment.

What does it help & not help?

Usually helps with:

  • fat reconstruction of the breast
  • rejuvenation of the face or buttox.

Will not help with:

  • general obesity
  • body contour irregularities that are not due to fat (e.g muscle, bone, muscle weakness)

How long will it last?
Once removed, fat cells do not reduplicate or reform. Consequently, reducing the population of fat cells in an area will produce a contour alteration that is expected to be permanent. The amount of fat contained in the remaining fat is controlled by diet and exercise. Subsequent alterations in the body contour may still occur as a result of aging, weight gain/loss, pregnancy and a variety of other circumstances.

Surgical Considerations
Surgery is performed in an accredited outpatient surgery center or hospital.

Body-Jet liposuction requires less time and results in less pain and bruising than other Liposuction techniques. Less manual pressure is needed to remove the fat and a simple local anesthetic can be used.
