What is it?
A TCA (Trichloradic Acid) Peel is a true rejuvenating skin treatment. It removes dead skin, while stimulating and realigning collagen fibres to enhance facial skin elasticity.

The chemical peel was first used in Europe and Australia 75-80 years ago. Dr. Zein Obagi (La Jolla, California) introduced it to the United States, which is why it is often called an Obagi Peel.

The TCA peel may be performed annually and will only enhance skin quality. It will not cause thinning or other negative side effects associated with other chemical peels or skin coatings.

Dr. Iacono has been performing successful TCA peels since 1990.

What does it help & not help?

Usually helps with:

  • fine lines
  • sun damaged skin

Will not help with:

  • deep lines
  • does not replace the CO2 laser and facial surgery procedures.

Surgical Considerations
TCA (acide peel) is performed under local anesthesia in an accredited outpatient surgery center or hospital.
